Listen to Semmangudi

This is an appeal to all serious music listeners. Sreekrishna Gana Sabha has brought out a four-cassette album of Semmangudi R Srinivasa Iyer, which is a digitally processed product of a live concert held at the same sabha during 1960.

The concert is very grand. I am very impressed by these cassettes. I hope you would also feel the same. This album tells us that we really missed a lot for not having been born earlier. By the impact of listening to his 60s music, I feel I have changed a lot as a listener as well as singer, and my settled concepts of tonal images of musical beauty seem start unsettling.

Here I am

Profile

I am a Carnatic Vocalist.
I am both a student of music and a performer. I look for more and more opportunities to render exhaustive concerts in company with a highly sensible but prejudiceless audience. I am learning and like to learn more too.

I am a student of philosophy too.

The current theme I am immersed in studying is how relativist positions are situated in philosophy.
